I have three Smiths...one made in 98, one in 88, and one in 72 (like new and fired little if any)......The 72 is very nice...very high quality, as is the one made in 88. The 98, was lacking the quality of the other two in fit and finish, and the trigger was horrendous! Nothing that hasnt been taken care of, but, it could have been better. I had the opportunity to inspect the fit, and trigger on a very old M&P, that was well worn and looked like it had seen better days.....If only Smiths quality today was what it was the!!!! The M&P's trigger was the smoothest, sweetest trigger I have ever felt, and the action, and lock up was still tight as a drum....unbelievable!!!!
