Here are two 8 3/8ths Model 29s that shipped in Jan 1962, with smooth stocks, one Rosewood and the other Goncalo Alves. S218017 that shipped 1/31/62 to W. Covina, CA and S218851 that shiped 1/19/62 to Peoria, IL.

Nice looking 44 Mags!! I have always liked smooth stocks, particularly ones made of rosewood (although smooth stocks made of GA are harder to find).

Any info yet on the SWCA?

I was typing this during your last post. Can you put up an Oct. '60 29 to look at?
