The same shop that I got my Reg. Mag. from last week now has a 29-2 6" nickle in about 95% condition with box and papers but no cleaning kit. They are asking $675. It seems a little high to me what do you guys think--I guess you are right the S&W bug has bit!

95% has some wear to it, If it is fine scratches and all of the nickle is there without nicks. I would see if I could walk with it for 600 to 650 out the door. If it has nicks and missing nickle %%0 would be tops for me. If you are collecting you need to judge if it is worth it. I have payed top money and sit on it for two years and came out great on it.

I picked up a M29-2 6 1/2 nickel, no box or papers for $475 last Saturday. I'd rate it at 90% with some scratches on the grip panels. I'd offer $600 for it. Good luck with your purchase!
