I'm doing a sanity check on the price of a Model 27-2. It's a 3.5" Nickel gun in LNIB condition, with the presentation case. The case includes the papers, manual and tools - minus the screwdriver. The case is in very good condition with only a small area of the lining damaged in the cutout for the gun (about the size of your pinky fingertip).

Here's a photo

For those of you who favor the right side...

As I said, this is a LNIB gun. The original owner said he fired 18-24 rounds in the 70's, cleaned it and put it away. Almost no turn line, no recoil shield marks and no flame cutting.

Update: Dated to 1977 based on S/N N407xxx

What would you pay for such a jewel?

For me, it would depend on how early a 27-2 it was. If it was an early N prefix serial number, it would be worth more.

It will be interesting to see what other folks say, but I would pay happily pay $1200 here in CA and not think twice, but, I have a sickness, check my tag line.

Best,

Michael

$800-900 would be my line in the sand unless it was filling a hole in my collection and I felt I "needed" it. Then would consider a little more. There will always be deals if one is willing to wait and watch.
