Can someone with the date of Manufacture chart tell me how old a M36 revolver serial#1272xx would be please?

As long as there is no J beside that number I'd say 1958.

Sorry, there is a j in front of the number. I wasn't aware that made such a big difference

The J is part of the serial number . . . and J1272xx would be 1973.
