has anyone seen a screw driver like this one. i have several that look like this but this seems to have a longer cut at the end. thanks for looking[IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG]

Expert will chime in here, but that is a much older one from, I would guess, late 1950's to early 1960's, before they went to the hollow ground type. How did I do screwdriver pros?

Dick, I think ya did fine but shouldn't they properly be called "sight-adjustment tools"?

Dick...You did just fine. The screwdriver pictured appeared in 1959 and was used until 1963/64.

The tip is flat ground, as opposed to the newer ones with hollow ground tips. Thats a pretty scarce screwdriver these days. It won't bring all that much (you won't be able to sell it and retire), but its a keeper.
I agree with Doc's time frame, but duting that time there were knurled aluminum ones still being shipped. It wouldn't surprise me at all if some of these were still coming out a few years after the official ending date, too. S&W didn't do things all at once.
