Thanks for your replies and info on DOM. While at the store, they sold a nice M686 for about $350. They also have a late model 649 in 357 mag for about $325 that looks great. I'm trying to find some cash for that one, too. They told me that they have trouble selling revolvers, most everyone asks for autoloaders.

Man what a good price! And the price on the others are good too. Why don't you tell every one where this shop is and we will all up their revolver sales!

Great gun and price. I paid $325 OTD for an unfired one in 1998, on my 30th birthday. It wears ivory grips now, and has become one of my favorite carry revolvers. In fact, I named it "Number 30", hence my screen name here. Today's my 40th birthday. You might have just inspired me to go shopping.

And I thought this 686 I got last month for $320 out the door was a good deal. More finish wear and no box like your little 19, but I guess I won't complain. I have a 2.5" 66 also and love it, and i'm sure you'll love your 19. Everyone should have one. I only paid $219 for my 66 but i've had it 10 years too.
later,
AJ

TWalker, would you consider revealing the name and address of the pawn shop? I go to VA. Beach every now and then and would like to check it out. Those prices are a lot better then in the Wash. D. C. area. Thanks, Waldo

That's a beautiful gun. A blued 2.5" M19 P&R is one of my "grail guns." To find one at the price you paid makes for a good day I'm thinking.

No problem, and I hope you find some nice revolvers. Princess Anne Pawnshop between Independence and Lynnhaven on Princess Anne Parkway. Also try the Armory, 3 miles away on Indian River Road.

Lucky dog!
I've been in there half-a-dozen times in the last year... nuthin' but bottom-feeders. Heck of a deal on the M19.

Great price. I bought a model 66-1 for 450 and was thrilled to get it. I would buy two or three at your price. The 2 1/2 barrel K frame is one of my favorites.
