Just a curious thought. I know all the new revolvers have shorter firing pins, but, the new just released M37's with no lock, no mim and firing pin on hammer, is firing pin on hammer shorter too?

The 37s without lock recently released in DAO that I saw had the old style hammer with hammer-mounted firing pin, if that is the one you are talking about. I did not take a micrometer to it, but it looked like the standard old hammer nose. There is no reason for it to be shorter, being connected to the hammer and the whole thing being blocked by the hammer block, it does not present the same issues as the new frame mounted FP that is not blocked by the hammer block.
