Just curious what you guys prefer on your model 58's ; Target stocks or Magna stocks? Anyone have a picture of one with each?

I think these look "right", but I prefer rubber when shooting.

By far this is my favorite for comfort and shooting.. Checkered Target Grips.
Nothing beats the original PC Diamond Magnas for looks though. It's one tuff looking gun like that.

The targets look better but if you carry, the magnas are by far better.

Magnas don't work for me.

With full house magnums and stock grips, my 58 was the first gun to draw blood...mine. Small N frame Pachmyers are the best thing since sliced bread as far as actually SHOOTING the damned thing. Based on how many used 58's you find without the factory grips, I guess alot of others thought the same as I did.
I honestly don't know anyone that owned a 58 when they were carried that left the factory grips on.

Just have to rub it in that I don't have a 58, don't you?
In my dreams, mine has diamond PC magnas for carry, and cokes for the range.

These *******s complaining about how to heel all their 58s is a pain isn't it?
Cripes, I'd be happy with just one.
Congrats to you guys that have em though,
Scott

I have used these since 1966.
I tore up the pc magnas to get the hardware.
