hey everyone just bought a smith and wesson model 29-2 serial number N668xxx any one know when it would have been produced if not any information on where i could find out would be appreciated

1980, to find others you gotta buy the Standard Catalog of Smith&Wesson 3rd edition.

Assuming the gun was about 95% + what would a fair price to pay for one of these in nickel finish be worth

what barrel length - does it have proper grips, presentation box, paperwork, tools?

barrell length is 6.5 inches no box paperwork or tools although i would not be above purchasing a presentation box if i could find one

With that barrel length, nickel, and if it's wearing original target stocks, I'd guess $500-600 in the condition you described - maybe a little more
