I just bought a 4 inch mod. 18 Combat Masterpiece, s/n 3363xx. Any idea on when it was made, and what size holster? Will it fit any "J" frame holster? Thanks Teejay9

Welcome to the forum.
The Model 18 is a K frame. Your serial number (on the butt of the gun) should start with a K and K 336,3XX likely would've shipped in 1958.

Welcome to the forum.
There should be a "K" prefix for that serial number. K3363XX would have been made in 1958.
It is a K frame and would be to big for a J frame holster.
Model 18's are great guns.
Jim
Edit: I need to type faster!

You're absolutely right, there is a "K" in the s/n. I must have overlooked it. Thanks so much for the info, Teejay9
