Unfortunately I don't have a pair yet
But I'd love to see those of you that do!
I'm amazed at his Roper style grips! Quite an artist to say the least.

Let's see them!

Here's a set of pre-war magnas Keith restored for my 4" KCPD RM. They look even better in person. The stocks were originally fitted with a grip adapter and exhibited notches in the wood along each side of the respective grip panels. There is no longer any trace of these notches - and the grain in the wood stands out beautifully.

Regards,

Jerry

These are my three sets of Keith Brown grips. The smooth set is on a Pre 28.The Roper style is on a transitional Heavy Duty.Sometime in it's history someone added King sights.Have not decided which "N" frame will get the third set.

A couple of sets purchased in a great transaction from Handejector (they are his photos as well - since I have moved I have not had the chance to set up my "studio" - I'll fix that shortly):

With original hardware:

Scrimshawed ivory medallions:

Keith does beautiful work!!!

Bruce and buffalo, thanks for sharing those.
I've been on Keith's list for a set of Roper's for 1.5 years now, I know they'll be an awesome addition to the other sets I've bought from him.

Here is a set of Keith Brown grips. They are “wraparound” N frame grips. They are made from a beautiful piece of Exhibition French Walnut, and they are absolutely gorgeous. They are made with a very noticeable palm swell.

They are as beautiful in person to see and to touch.

Notice the true palm swell.

Thank you szuppo, for the thread and the compliment. No need to worry about Klatuu's post, I wouldn't want to run you all off with my picture, I'm so ugly I shower in the dark! It's really nice to see the grips on all the different guns, when I make them I only see them on the few I own. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post pictures and for the kind comments. JayCee, email coming your way, looks like another of my infamous mistakes.

Keith, do you make grips for the K round butt? My son is in Wright State by you and we were passing through Beavercreek. I told him you lived there and you made some real nice grips. I'll have a set one day, Larry

These Keith Brown Ropers in exhibition French walnut with 20 lpi checkering are going on a pair of engraved S&W 3 1/2" model 27s. I recommend his craftsmanship to anyone who needs a beautiful pair of functional custom made grips which also qualify as art. Thank you for your dedication Keith!

Simple...? . Is that a 1905 4th Change M&P Target with a 4" barrel? If so, that is the only one that I have ever seen. Beautiful! Especially with the K pre-war style magnas... Thanks for sharing - I missed this earlier.

Oh, just go ahead and call him a slacker!!!

If he's not sitting behind your tables, he's behind Lee's.

Keith, are you still reading?

Did the cutters work out for you? Were they capable of cutting walnut?

A pair of Keith Brown's recent exhibition French walnut creations in the S&W combat style on my 3" 624. Thanks, Keith.

Some threads are worth resurrecting. This is certainly one of them.

I bought these KB Ropers from the Lee Jarrett a few years ago.

Default A great package,

both beautiful and useful. The original correct numbered service stocks are not suited to my hand, but Keith's Roper version is fantastic on all accounts. Here are two of mine, on a M&P .38 Target in walnut from 1915 and a K 32 from 1941 in redheart.
