I just ordered a set of "Secret Service" grips from Eagle Grips for my 2 1/2" 629, because they are shorter, slimmer, and allow for speed loaders, etc. Check them out and see what they offer.

Yep, Eagle Secret Service grips are pretty slim. And the sets I've owned had a natural finish so they could be fit even slimmer if desired.

The Eagle Secret Service grips are a bit slimmer than my Craig Spegal Boot grips & are a bit smaller in the T Grip area at the front.
I find myself with Eagles on both my Airlite & Airweight currently..
here's a Pic of the Eagle SS Grips on my 342Ti Airlite & Spegals on my 642 & 940

A couple of years ago, I had a conversation with Hogue
and they said for an extra fee, they would make a slimmer
version of their wood Bantam grips.

Ahrends J-frame boot grips -- slightly less than an inch mounted on my 442 (measured at the screw).
