Help price on S&W box
What is a S&W 36 box in good condition worth?
Never had to buy a box before. Been looking on
ebay is that the best place to look? Thanks for
any help you can give. Don

Boxes are often on GunBroker.com. Run a search or watch some auctions to get an idea of price and condition...

Generally, from what I've seen, ebay will be cheaper than GB. As for price, it depends on what, if anything, comes with it, and the condition. You might want to put a want to buy ad on the forum. Someone may have one.

What are the specs on your gun, I might have one laying around you can have.
Vintage, barrel length, finish....?

Thanks VM and SmithNut for the help. It's very nice of
both of you. As VM said it's a model 36-no dash blue and 2"
barrel with a square butt. It's serial # is J345xxx I think
that would put a DOB at 1975-1976. If you can help send

Been busy and didn't check back on this til now. I do have a 2" M36 box, not SB unfortunately but RB, 2" Blue. Serial number is 5J6846, a bit later than yours.
