California Highway Patrol Commemorative $?
I have a chance to pick up a California Highway Patrol Commemorative 19. It's new, unfired, in it's presentation case.
What are these going for now days?
I'm not usually a long tube guy but it is stunning.

There are many K frame commemorative revolvers that exist. From the one's I've seen here in Alabama, they are usually overpriced and sit "for sale" for a long time and most never sell.
Personally, I would not pay a premium over a standard model (unless I was a CHP).

P&R..............IMO, 500-600 bucks if indeed NIB. Auction would probably bring more.

I know that it is being offered by the original purchaser who bought it when they were offered and has now retired to Arizona.
Thanks again VM.

What model 19 is it? It should say [19-something]
unless it is a no dash. I will take a guess and say that
if the box and gun are as new $550. Lets see what others
say. Don

19-4. It is unfired. Bet it has been taken out of the presentation case only a few times. No turn line or anything.

Sounds real nice. I will stick with $550. It was made
between 1977 and 1982. Still would like other opinions. Don

I'd rather pay $550 than $600...
SCSW 3rd says 5000 of these were made between 1978-1979. It also states ANIB $650 but the book has been out a couple years now.
