M57 Grips
I recently bought a M57, dated 1979-1980, came with Pachmayr's. Curious as to what the correct grips would be. Maybe so I can afford a pair

Slim,
Your Model 57 most likely left the factory wearing large checkered targets like these. You should be able to find a nice set here on the forum for around $60.00, give or take.

Here are the grips on my M28-2. The are SB N Frame Targets, black washer and football cut outs. I am slowly learning the grip lingo LOL.

Congrats on the 57. Perfect cartridge for the N frame, and honest (.410"). Some good hard cast 210s, std primers, stoute load of 2400 and you're in business. Shot one of mine today.

The grips in rfo1's post are correct. The other side should have the football shaped relief, not the full speedloader cutout.
These are the ones here on my 25-2
