Default Been away for a while (with photos)

Been away for a while, due to Uncle Sammy moving me from VA to AL. Some folks here probably enjoyed the respite, but I'm back. To atone for missing the various goodies here, I took some pix of the latest stray S&W to follow me home. It's a Model 66, and it was crying out for a good home at the Montgomery gunshow... so now it has one. Haven't fired it yet, but expect it to be as well-mannered as its M19 siblings.

Yes indeed! That sure is perty! I like how you did the little strip tease thing with the pics. Very funny!

Good luck with it. It's a beauty.

My 66-1 has a blued rear site as well.
Earlier models are identifieable by a stainless rear site assembly.

Default Nice

Very nice 66

I am wondering if there are any markings indicating a return to the factory, as the lid of your box doesnt have the disclaimer printed in it which could indicate that it was a return box.

Nice gun nonetheless.
