Default Late 60s era M36 box value?

My buddy gave me this, said he picked it up at a yard sale years ago. Its for a 2" blue 36 round butt serial # 688873. The first 8 looks like someone went over it with a 6, but the 8 is still easy to make out. Factory could've done it, who knows.
The best part is missing, the revolver.
Anyway, everything in the pics is whats with it, the cleaning rods and ends are used but in good shape. Other than a sticker on the top of the box and the writing 7-44 (real faint) it looks to be in pretty good shape. Any idea what I can get out of it? Thanks!

I'd love to have a 36 to fill it but I'm a Centennial kinda guy.
I am interested in selling it as I don't need it. Just want a fair price to offer.

OK Sonny, I'll drop back in and say with paperwork, good corners and 2 cleaning rods and swabs... $45 on the classifieds and see where it goes.

JMHO.
