I have concealed my 327 M&P R8 with a five inch tube in a simply rugged sourdough pancake holster. Of course, here in PA we can conceal or openly carry so "printing" is hardly a problem... and I live in Philadelphia.

Not all the time, but I do carry it often, especially in cooler weather with a shirt tail out...crossdraw ain't bad. I've got original style Eagle boot grips, Spegel boot grips, and S&W combat finger groove grips for it. But, my favorite is an older pair of K-frame Pachmayr Compaqs that fit it perfectly and feel the best. They not the prettiest though.

I also have a custom made cross draw holster and a off the rack strongside holster for it but I like the Galco Phoenix pictured below the best. "Printing" is a non-issue in my state as well.

I've used a 2" 327PC as a carry gun. A 627 is going to weight quite a bit more. I personally wouldn't, but there are frequent accounts of guys using N-Frame revolvers, sometimes with 4" barrels, for CCW purposes, so it certainly can be done.

My 642's role of a pocket protector is safe... my PC627 UDR won't replace it, that's for sure. Had to have it - loved it at first sight - in 1999! I didn't get one until this past winter - when they came out - again. Fun to plink with - especially with a decent grip, like the Ahrends retro targets I put on it recently. If someone makes a non-fluted cylinder 327NG/PC627 UDR RH holster, I'd like to know!

Yes. I carry mine a lot. It is nice. Does not feel as bad as one might think as far as weight.

I have a shoulder holster that works better for me than the belt holster I have. Need suspenders for it.
