Lots of positive comments on 625-2,-3,-4,-6,-8 etc on gun accuracy.
I want to get a 5 inch model in 45 acp. I am not a competitive shooter, I do not reload ( yet). I want accuracy for defense and general shooting out to 15 to 25 yards......
I want to know if all of these versions are equal as to their rifling / design and as such greatly prefer non jacketed ammo for accuracy???
Will I be disappointed, other than perhaps higher recoil in shooting jacketed ammo thru any of these 5 inch 625's?
So which model is best or are they all the same?
Others have said go get a 25-2 model 1955 to shoot jacketed ammo, but the variation in chamber throat dimensions causes me to hestiate and wonder if the 625 would be more accurate because of its solid .452 throat dimension construction, regardless of rifling for lead shooters.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences
