Just received my set of Grashorn grips. They look great on my 66. Will post photo when I learn how.

I'm definitely going to check out the site and decide which ones to get...then I'll get the gun to go with the grips.

How have I missed this thread for 8 years!!!!!!!!

Patrick made a set of no-bark grips for my Registered Magnum which were missing it's original grips and anything close to period correct were going for several hundred more than his Stag's...... that was 12-13 years ago..... I'm up to 5 or 6 sets! Great grips and a great guy to work with.

I have two sets of Grashorn grips. Ramshorn on a nice Model 28 and elk stag on a 64.

Here's a Grashorn story. I'm an NRA instructor. We have a dewat S&W 10 with a plexiglas side plate to show students how the revolver works. Patrick made a right side stock from plexiglass for that M-10. I offered to pay him the going rate, but he donated his work because he "supports the NRA and classes that teach safety and basic pistol skills."

You will not find a nicer guy or a better craftsman.

I purchased these from Patrick back some time in 2006 for a 19-5 that I had. Traded that for a Python in 2009 but saved the grips figuring I'd probably have another mid frame round butt S&W at some point. They stayed buried in my safe until about a month ago when I stumbled into this Talo 686+ and figured the homeless Elk Stags would look pretty good on it along with the Tyler T grip also salvaged from the ol' 19.
