I don't have a pic, but a pedestal grinder is your best friend.
Remove the hammer and grind the spur off. It's easily done.

I don't have a decent pic, either, but I long ago swapped my 360PD hammer for a spurless from a 340PD. Works great, no snag, and you should be able to find one pretty cheap.

Take a cutting wheel and cut it off and use small hand held grinder with a disc on it and sand it down then buff and finish and it will look like this.

Thanks Gents.
I've bobbed the hammer on my old style mod 60 ( with dremel cut off and some stones )and it came out fine. I've just read that the MIM hammers don't come out so well due to their porous nature. I didn't realize that the 340 PD hammer would fit. I'll take a look around for one.
The 1/2 bobbed looks OK and I believe that's a mim unit too. Actually saw/liked a factory 1/2 bobbed on a 317 today. Not sure if it would fit as it is a rim fire of course. Maybe I will give it a cut and see what happens.

Check out this hammer bob on my 386 SC Mountain Lite. Of course, that is not the only mod on that fine revolver...

Yes, the hammer on my 360J is MIM, that's why I posted the pic. The area where it was cut is polished smooth and it looks and acts like any other hammer.
Steve-
Love that 386, very sharp. What brand is that rear sight?

Cylinder and slide extreme duty rear sight, XS standard dot tritium front. She is one hell of a carry gun, and only about 19 oz.
