A almost perfect 686plus, 3 inch followed me home the other day, honest.
It is a 686-5. Story is that it visited the custom shop. I believe it, as the double and single actions are perfect. Wicked accurate. Heavier than the k-frame I traded but worth it.
It has a solid, pinned ramp sight. Pretty sure I can get a smith red ramp for it, but I was wondering if anyone has a source for a tritium front sight?
Had one from Gemini for a sp101 but they only have short ones.
XS makes a .180 high standard dot for the L frame that I have on my mountain gun, as well as other heights. I am not sure which height would be ideal for you. Check out their website and or send them an email or call them. My front sight was 45 bucks I think...
