SW Nickel 3" 44 and Colt Python blue 4" 357
I have been sitting on a 3" nickel or ss S & W in a 44. Weighs a ton. I would say in 95% to 99%. Also have a blued COLT PYTHON 357 w/ 4"barrel blued. Say it is also 95%. You have a rough value on these? Obviously the Colt is no longer made not sure about the SW. Date the SW to the 80s.
Thanks
Bob

Bob, it would be helpful if there were pictures, and more to your descriptions. Is the Model 29 a 29-2, etc.? If you have the serial numbers, that would be helpful in determining exactly how old they are. For security purposes omit the last two or three digits, and replace them with x's (V123xx, e.g.).

Figures. Just locked the safe up. SW is a Model 29. I will post the info down the road. I guess what I was more interested in is if the SW Model 29 is a desirable gun? The Colt goes w/o saying is wanted by most.
Thanks
Bob

Bragging? These few I have mentioned are hardly anything to brag about. Pics? I am barely comfortable listing the guns let alone including pics. If I was selling them obviously there would be attatched pics. I did post pics of the ELG flint powder pistols in one of my general WS post. That is if you care to view them.

Any, I repeat, any 3" S&W in .44 is a desirable gun. Only question is ...is your desire to keep it as great as my desire to get it?

If they're nothing worth bragging about, I'll give you a hundred bucks for that Python, and we'll call it a day.
