Default 940 value?

What would the value of a 3" 940 with the box and all papers be roughly? I have not seen it but was told it has some mild holster wear but wasn't shot much. A friend of mine has it, he got it from the original owner for resale or trade material. Thanks.

In all reality I would say 500 bucks
BUT these days, between two bidders it could see 800 or more.

I would say a bit more than $500 simply because of the 3 inch barrel. I have seen severaly of the 2 1/2 inch guns. And if my over 58 memory serves me correct the full moon clips for the Ruger SP101 in 9mm would also fit.

With box and papers, I would say $550 to $700.

I'll say over $550 IMO..
The 3"ers are less desireable as a carry piece compaired to the 2"ers but there's alot less 3"ers out there..
I can't realy afford one currently but would be interested in a 3" M940 just because.. Just like I have a 4" M547 but also want the 3"
And YES Ruger SP101 9mm moon clips will work with the 940 but the 940s clips won't work with the Ruger unless there aftermarket TK etc
The Ruger has a larger ratchet star..
