Default 642 No Internal Lock Available

For all of you who will not buy any S&W with the lock, the distributor RSR has over 1,400 new 642s without internal lock. Time to stock up and "put your money where your mouth is!"

So they say huh Mike?

Would that be leftover, as in they were left over night right where they were?

1,400 left over frames plus!the number already sold?

That's a lot of left over 10 year old frames

Now S&W should make me a 63, 617, and 686 without a lock

AMEN! How about a no-lock 617 with 4" non-lugged barrel, square butt, in six-shot? I'd buy one tomorrow.......I'd even be flexible on the round vs. square butt AND the barrel lug!

Don't think that you can buy direct from RSR though

I prefer a 10 shot cylinder on the 617 and 8 shot on the 63.

I'd love S&W to either remove the lock or hide it in the grips like Ruger does. In other words, get rid of the ugly hole above the cylinder release.
