What can you guys tell me about the M63-22lr, snubnose?
Were there many made?
What is the value or avg. selling price today?

i been seeing them for $700 on up to $1,000 u don't see many for sell they made them for lew horton 500 made in 1989 this was a 63-2 then the book says they made 1000round butt special in 1991 then in 1992 its says they are standard production i think these ones in 91 and 92 are 63-3 thats all i know about them someone elese will tell u more hope this helps u alittle

I love my 63 with the 4 inch barrel. I shoot it a lot and it is the perfect twin to my 631 with 4 inch barrel. Cheaper to shoot 22 instead of 32. PM me if you are interested in selling. Post some pictures here, I do not know if yours has the adjustable rear sight or not.

All the Model 63's have adjustable rear sights. S&W made a Model 317 that had either fixed sights (2" barrel) or adjustable sights (3 inch barrel).

SCSW 2nd Ed. says 500 made for Lew Hortons in '89 under product code 102405.

1991 - 2in w/RB became standard production.

Don't have the book handy here but I believe the 2" was made into the very early 2000s. I bought one around then at closeout pricing. They're very nice, but like all 2" barrel guns, the sight radius doesn't help accuracy a whole lot.
