Default Lets see the gun that saved your life...

I am always amazed at all the beautiful wheel guns I have seen on this forum, and some are built for competitions, some are just range plinkers, some are safe queens, some are investments, and some are bought soley for us to keep ourselves and loved ones safe. Regardless if you are an LEO, military, or just an average working person I would love to see some pictures and here how your revolver saved your life or someone elses. I have nothing against beautiful polished up guns that are appealing to the eye, but I do find beauty in a well worn gun that has been carried and shot quite often. Here is a picture of my 342PD, I carry it in a Galco pocket holster with Gold dot HP's. I stopped to get gas one night and a car with no headlights pulled up, 4 males were in the car, the driver got out and started walking up to me and the passenger had jumped into the driver seat of their car. The man walking towards me had a ski mask on and was reaching for something in his waste. I was able to confront him with my trusty 342PD and safely dissolve the situation w/o ever firing a single shot. Thats the closest I have ever come to getting car jacked, and hopefully the last time.

Here's the only image I could find of it - still have it, never going to sell it!

W. German Sig P220, first batch of the American magazine release models in America. Bought it in 87 and used it not 6 months later in anger.

No shots were fired. Lives saved: Myself, wife and unborn daughter.

2 BG's and neither of them seemed to like the look of the business end of this .45.

The watch is a Yacht-Master.
