I bought a 29-4 with 3" barrel and unfluted cylinder yesterday. The gun is a TRUE 99% inside and out with Pachmayr grips. ( No box) . I paid 700.00 Total . ( Including registration, tax etc.) How do You think I did? How common are these guns?

Sounds like a good deal to me.
Pachmyr grips were standard for that model.
Post some pictures.
Someone will chime in with the correct answer but I think 2500 or so were made.
I love mine.

Yep, they came with rubber grips standard. $700 is a good price. 2532 of them made according to "the book".
