Default Unlucky at love,lucky with guns pt 2. A n.i.b. Mod 16-4

I apologize. I'm sorry. Please don't dislike me. There. That said for those of you who have not found your model 16-4 for under a million $.

But ,when I tell you, I am unlucky at love ,I'm not kidding. I haven't had a girlfriend in years. My girl radar must be broke.

I found my 2nd Model 16-4 , A 6"to go with my 4" . It appears unfired as there is no carbon to be found anywhere on it.
The turn line is probably the result of the factory fitters having to work the action a bit more to get the cylinder ratchet to work in.
Sometimes I've found new in box Smiths with scant turn lines, some heavier. It wasn't until I learned that part of the cylinder fitting process is working the action that I realized that sometimes guns came from the factory this way.

This was a pawn and gun shop "down here" in my neighborhood.
I'm glad Colt SAA didn't see this one , or I never would have.

Serial #s are BEZ83xx and BEZ78xx just 558 numbers apart. The Julian date on the one box I have for the 6" is 0107 , placing manufacture at April 16th, 1990.

Here are the pictures,

I hope you find what you're looking for ,be it love ,or revolvers.

Regards ,,Allen Frame

Allen, gorgeous as always, although the 32 is a caliber I have zero interest in I do recognize how hard those are to come by, congrats! Now a little chick advice, spend a little less time hunting down all of these gorgeous Smiths and maybe you'll find Mrs. Allen frame, or just find a chick that loves S&W, like mine!

Congrats Allen, it looks like you have a beauty.
Now you need a K32 Model 16 Masterpiece to go along with them. Good luck on that one.

As long as you are not spending money on women, I know where you can finish your set with an 8 3/8" 16-4 serial number BET 9053 NIB. It's at Pro-Gun services Victor, New York 585-924-1733, it's from an estate of a former S&WCA member. I'ts less than a million at $1995. It is also pictured on Pro-Gun's website.

Hey, why aren't you guys at work?

Thanks Mike, I know it to be true. The one thing about a revolver is; it won't leave me for another man.

Yes, these are out there. A while back I brought along a nice SP-101 DAO in .357 to a small show down here in Central Texas. Nice piece but it hurt to shoot it. I traded it and a Ben Franklin for a NIB 6" 16-4. I smiled all the way home... Strangely, there were TWO 6" 16-4s at that small show. Enjoy your new acquisition.
