you should be able to find a good used 3" SP101 for under $400. Thats what I would get.

we have a gun show coming up this weekend..a dealer from whom i've bought in the past had a new SP101 for $440.00 at the last show.

if he has them again i might do that.

2" or 3" model(s) 10, 13, 15, 64, 65 square or round butt frame would work just perfect IMHO.

Plenty of great ammo combo's & solid as a rock.

I found a 3" M65 last year for $375. The M60 can be found with a 3" barrel. As Cruiser RN said, the M640 (stainless steel, 2" .357) is a good alternative.
