I don't have one but if you don't buy it for $815 someone else will..
It's worth $1000+ IMO..
I have a 940 & a converted 9mm Airweight..
That Gun is a PC940 & those green grips aren't factory

If my memory serves me right, the M940 in 356TSW came with rubber boot grips made by Uncle Mikes.
Could be wrong, but that's what I remember....

I have one and it has the sweetest action that I have ever felt on a revolver and I own several PC revolvers. Shoots 9mm just fine plus handles the mighty 356. I do have some binding issues with the real hot 356 ammo after a few cylinders.
Here is an old pic of my 3 x PC revolvers. PC460,PC940 and PC640

Here's the Auction as it ended without any bids..
The starting price was $800 & the Buy It Now price was $815..
If I had the dough I would have bought it..
Rare S&W 940 Performance center .356 TSW/9x19 : Revolvers at GunBroker.com
One of these days I'll have a 3" M547 & a PC940

What exactly is the .356 TSW? I thought it was something Team Smith and Wesson had been trying to promote at one time. I never knew it was offered in a J Frame. Is it just another .38 Super or 9x23? Or maybe a 9x22? So what we essentially have here is a 2" barrel revolver with a comp on the end of it? How does it perform at the chronograph?

The .356 TSW is a 9 X 21.5 round which almost duplicates the ballistics of a 357 Mag, 140 grain round at 100 yrds.
Here are the original flyers from the factory on the ammo.

OK then... After reading those outlandish claims I now remember why most shooters were quick to forget about this cartridge.
The revolver is interesting though. How were the chambers bored? Is this a straight wall or tapered cartridge? Did they do it right so that the 9x22.5 headspaces properly on the case mouth? Does it have a true 9mm barrel or was this the beginning of the era when S&W realized they can just screw on a .357 barrel and try to fool us?

That gun is worth of a specific set of Spegels made for the Centennial frame like the ones Smith Nut showed in his pics..
It is BTW the "HOLY GRAIL" of J Frame Snubbys IMO..
I like the looks of the grips you installed, Are they from Thialand??
NICE!

They run right around $100 directly from Craig Spegel & more if bought from an outside vendor..
I've aquired a few sets over the years & there's nothing finer IMO..
Also notice how they come all the way up the Centennial frame, There made for them..

I have one of these that I picked up NIB at an OGCA show a number of years ago. Its still unfired although I do have a box of the .356 TSW ammo. I like the looks of it and may shoot it some day although I have quite a few J frame options.
