Dude it gets much worse. I am only up to 15 revolvers but I am scrimping and saving for the next one in the next week or 2...it is truly an addiction.

Nice start! I've got the 442 and 686 twins to yours.
What's up with the finish on the 19? It looks matte.

From what I've heard, Smith made a run of 19's for someone with the matte finish, but I can't confirm if its one or not. Also, may have been refinished at some point, but again, I'm no expert. Just recently got into Smith weapons, and don't know much about them.

I have the same sickness. No cure. The good thing is it wont kill you. Unless the wife figures out how much money youve spent.

This ain't a sickness, it's only the begining. You can never have too many. Be forewarned, it is only the begining. Even when you think it is over, you will see a S&W of some sort that you don't have and it will start all over again. Bwa- ha- ha ha ha....

Your Matte 19 is the only one that doesn't fit in your collection. Please check my Profile for my e-mail address, and an offer to buy. Boy, they saw you coming when they sold you that one..... You're starting well, but that Flat Black Stubbie thing needs to go....I love you man....Zebulon

I've come down with the same illness, and it's killing me that I can't afford to feed it...but I'm happy with the 686+, 638 & 36 that I've gotten in the last two weeks. Looks like you've done great!

You're only in the preliminary stages of your addiction, but it may be too late anyway. It is irreversible as noted by many experts on this forum. When you have multiple examples of the same model and dash, it has reached stage two. Currently I'm in stage two myself. Hang in there, it only gets worse er......... I mean better.

Unfortunately, you do have the disease. One S&W is a novelty, 2 or more is the first stage of the addiction. When you convince yourself that the overtime or bonus money is not part of the household income and need not be reported to the wife, you are slipping into stage 2. From there it is a downhill slide. Next you want one example of every model number, then a blue one and a nickel version to balance out. When you start thinking that you then need the variations, -1,-2,-3 etc. or the 2", 4" 5" 8 3/8" barrel lengths, you are done for.
Good luck and sorry to hear about you illness.

I'm there already, and that was before the revolver phase started.

After looking through this thread, I have determined that some of you have far too many of these toys for your own good and that some wealth redistribution is in order. A tax shall be levied by yours truly.
When you are ready to pay your tax (payable in revolvers of course), please let me know.
I'll be waiting. . .
