Talking Woohoo! What a shooter!

I finally got a chance to take out my 686+ today, and it is quite the shooter. Right after I got it I put 7 rounds thru it in a hurry and liked it, but today I spent a little more time with it and I believe I shot better with it than any handgun I've ever shot. I didn't get to put too many rounds downrange, but I'm already anticipating next time

Is there a dash after your model 686? If so what number is it? Thanks a lot.

it's a 686-6 with the 7 round cylinder. Now I've just got to get some nice wood stocks for it...the Hogue feels nice, but leaves a bit to be desired in the looks department. I also need a good holster for it, but I think my wife is getting me the one I want for Christmas

Glad you like your new shooter.
I don't like the feel of rubber, so I tried these Miculek grips and love them.

Best of luck!

Yes dewalt i don't like the rubber either. They put a Callus on my middle finger. The 686 series are excellent James (ab4ka). I have the 686-1, 686-4, & 686-6 (MIMs). Carried the 686-1 for about 15 years & put over 30,000 thru it. Let us know how it shoots.
