Default For a 686 how hard is it to find...

An unfluted cylinder with a 2.5"-3" barrel? I've seen that they made them in a 5" barrel but I really like the shorter barrel 686's. Can you buy an unfluted cylinder for it and have it installed? Is it possible or just not worth the trouble?

You can buy an unfluted cylinder at Brownell's (approx. $125) and have it fitted to the revolver. Is it worth the trouble and the additional cost? That's only for you to decide.
