Default M-24-3 Assistance needed

I'm pretty new to this forum, am a retired LEO (35 yrs service) and Police Armorer, a custom holster maker, and am partial to S&W wheel guns. I am switching homeowner's insurance and need a proper value of this M-24-3. It's 3", .44 Spl, Round Butt, Lew Horton Special(?) Thanks in advance, Mike

I saw you only got a couple of replies on your other thread. The gun looks very nice, except for the gold lettering, JMO. Do you have the box and other goodies that came with it or just the gun? For insurance I would probably put the value at $900. Another JMO.

Thanks Bama, I just figured that I maybe should put each gun on the proper forum for each type to get a proper response after one response was to an M-59 and the gun is a 539. Mike

I have one also, and it would take $850 for me to even think about parting with it. When I do see them for sale, they are in the $800 to $1000 range depending on condition. Insure for replacement value.
