Default NEED REVOLVER RECOMMENDATIONS!!!

i sold my 637 because i hated shooting it.

i've since purchased a 64-4, 2.5 bbl with hogue grips from J&G, & i just purchased some finger groove grips for it.

i have a model 66 .357 2.5 bbl. SS with wood grips on layaway with a dealer i found on GB.

now, my question is, where do i go from here?, i can't get into $600 - $700 guns. i need to buy used & not to go over $400 to $450 per gun at least for now.

i do not like 6" or 8" bbls, 4" & under works for me. i figure if i shop diligently, i can buy some decent stuff, so, when i take the checkered flag my son will have some fun-shooting stuff.
& if i buy right, i shouldn't lose any money if i need to sell.

what do you guys recommend?

thanx,
trailblazer[/B]

after you have paid off your model 66, then revisit j&g sales. they have good prices on used, quality s&w model 64 with 4" barrel.

There are literally thousands of S&W K frames with 4" barrels out there. Not too long ago 99 out of 100 police officers carried them. You will find them everywhere (J&G to start) and they are easier than the 2" to shoot and just about the same to carry. There are also 3" K frames out there. Try fixed sighted models (snag-free). Good Luck!
