681 NIB Performance Center Price
I know someone who has this for sale, but I have found very little info on this 681. It has a 3" barrel, 7 shot, chamfered cylinder holes. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the forum. That is a very nice 681. In the book it's called a Model 681-5 Special for Camfour. It was produced in 2001 in 3" and 4" barrels. It came with checkered wood laminate grips and supplied with a second set of Hogue Bantam Monogrip and it came with 7 shot moon clips in a PC aluminum case. That's about all I see in the book. I don't see where it says how many were made. hope this helps.

Pre-lock PC guns are nearly all valued at around $1k, give or take a hundred. Anything less would be considered a good deal for the buyer, anything more a good deal for the seller.
The fixed sights on the 681 make it desireable, but a lot of traditionalists don't care for the 7 shot cylinder.

Never understand collectors/purest who pay through the nose for just a butt ugly gun.
I would tell you what butt ugly gun I have but I have better sense then having everyone here laughing at me and my great big 22 Magnum automatic pistol and no it's not one of those little AMT AutoMag plinkers.

All things being equal (frequently they’re not) 7 shots are better than the usual 5 in small frame revolvers. Don
