Default Nickle Finish

I was Interested in a nickle finish Model 29. I understand you can't use Hoppes #9 (My Favorite) to clean it. I have a can of Swith & Wesson Synthetic-Safe Bore & Action cleaner. No warning on the can about nickle finish like Hoppes. What other brands of cleaner can be used safely?

Use Kroil or Break-free. Hoppe's can be used , carefully , just don't soak it. Wipe it off ASAP. Especially if there's any nicks or cracks in the nickel plating.
