Default 627 Date of Manufacture

I have a 627 V-Comp Performance Center 8 shot that I'd like to know the approximate date of manufacture.

Could someone give me a hand?

If you provide the first 5 digits of the serial number that would help narrow it down to a specific year. If you have the box and include the "SPEC ORD" number we can provide an exact date. Also if you have the box and the fired cartridge envelope is in there, it will also be dated.
