Talking Thanks to everyone here who helped me make a decision to order a 686P .357 6" 7 round... Just got off the phone and it is ORDERED and Secured!

Just got off the phone at Bud's and got the last 686P 6" 7 round. I almost procrastinated too long and almost missed it and would have had to wait another month or even longer until they got more in stock. Thanks to all your positive feedback on this .357 I knew I had to have one. I have a Ruger Service-Six 4" .357 1986 model, but no S&W .357. So being in California and limited on what I can have on the "list", I opted for a new one. Just wanted to say thanks to all who gave me advise on this, and say Merry Christmas. I also must say that since joining this forum and talking to all you guys with sometimes goofy questions, that I have learned a lot. Thanks to your reviews, I have in the last few months aquired 2- M&P's (one 9mm compact - one .40 compact) 2- 617's 10 round (4" & 6"). And 1 60LS Ladysmith for the boss 2 1/8", the.460XVR 8 3/8" and now the 686P. I don't have quite what I had before in my savings and what I would have saved up along the way, but when I retire in a few years I look at this as my retirement savings in action. Can't take it with you right....... Again thank you everyone, it is a pleasure being here and talking to you all.

And when I get a camera I will post pictures of everything you helped me get!

.460 & XVR Magnum Man:

Well, looks like somebody has been a good little fellow this year! Nice choice and congrats on snagging what you want in a timely fashion.

How do you like the compact M&P's in terms of accuracy, quality, and in comparison to the Ladysmith? (Pardon the hijack but I am curious about the M&P semi-autos.) Thanks.

Chris
