Default 66-2

What is the best product to clean/polish my stainless 66? It is in good shape but appears to have a couple of shiny scuff marks near the end of the barrel.
THANKS!!

Do a search of Flitz and Mothers mag polish and you should have enought reading to last for the day. I use either of these and it is easy to clean and polish the SS revolvers.

If you have scratches that will not polish out you may want to use the Scotchbrite pads. Again a search will yield information on which to use for the best performance.

I use Flitz. Seems to do it's job faster than Mothers. I can really tell the difference between the two when I'm polishing my Harley. Apply some wax afterwards and it'll stay shiny longer.

I bought Mother's Mag polish at WalMart Auto Dept. I used it on a Police tradein M66-7 I aquired recently. I got impatient & used some fine 3M pads... I can see the differance in color where the 3M was used... I wish id gone a bit slower. Still the nicks of duty use cleaned all up...

Amazon.com always has it if you can't find it locally. I bought a 2.2 lb. can and it had free shipping.

I bought mine at a gun show a couple of years back. A little bit goes a long ways! Here is their link. I use the paste.

Flitz Metal, Plastic & Fiberglass Polish & Paint Restorer - Paste

Here is a pic of a 3" 66-2 that I polished for about 3 hours while watching the tube. You can make stainless easily look like nickel if you really want to take the time.
