Default HKS speedloader and Altamont j-frame boot grips
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if HKS speedloaders will function properly with Altamont j-frame boot grips. I just ordered a checkered pair in sliver-black for my 642 and wasn't sure if there were any clearance issues. Also, any opinions out there on the quality of these grips.

They will clear just fine..
My 342Ti had those grips factory & the HKS #36 worked fine with them..
Share some pics when you get them..
Also those grips have pins that index the halves together & thier fit is fantastic..

Default Altamont boot grips
I like the Altamont J frame boot grips and have 4 sets of them, including silver black on a model 642, which you are planning. They work fine with a HKS speedloader.

The most trouble I had was using the HKS with a set of Pachy Compac's. About 6 minutes with a drum sander cured that affiction though?
