I paint the serrated part with jig and lure paint nice neon colors and chip resistant.

My friends Magna-port custom has the blade for the front sight and it works.

There is a reason I carry a couple bottles of nail polish in my range bag, and it aint because I wear a dress...

I just picked up this 686-1 at a Pawn Shop. I needed the sights painted so I did this. I mixed the two colors and they work well.

I also use the orange nail polish. Went to the dollar store, they have all kinds of wild colors. It has been on the front sights of two guns for several months and are just know starting to show a little wear.
