Default 586....pinned front sight?

Wondering if early 586's (with a red ramp insert) would have a pinned front sight, or if it's machined from the barrel blank.

I realize it would not have one of the easily visible pins on many of the later models, just wondering if it's one of the nearly invisible pins installed before polishing and bluing.

I'm looking at one to buy, and the front sight is boogered up pretty well.

Thanks in advance.

I have looked at a couple and could not find the pins. Mine has a Patridge and it is not pinned and dates from the first year production.
