Hello Everyone,
I joined this forum since I am considering selling two guns from my parents. One is a Ladysmith 65-5 in .357 magnum, with the original box, carry case, cleaning kit (new), and original paperwork. It appears we bought it in 1991, and my mom believes she's shot less than 50 rounds through it. I myself took it to the range yesterday and put 12 rounds through it just to give it a try before parting with it.
In my opinion that is way to high. I know that 3" barrel's
are the rage now but I don't like them that much. They said
in the ad that the gun was glass beaded. I may be wrong
but I don't think that is a original finish. I think this is why
you see so many high prices on GB. IMO Don
I bought one from CDNN in, (I believe) 2005 or so and paid $399 plus shipping and the hideous NJ transfer fee.
It did nothing better than my 65 or 66 and I was eyeing up the 60-4 with adjustable sights...so away it went.
In hindsight, I might have liked to keep it and pay outright for the 60-4.
Now a 3" 681 round butt...that would be tough to pass up.
I sold mine a few years back for $475 with the case and outer box.
They are probably bringing a little more these days.
Wonderul revolvers!
Send me a PM with a price once you establish it.
Thanks!
