Default 649-2 purchase

I just picked up a 649-2 Bodyguard at a local shop for $275. No box or goodies, but the gun looks like new to me. It has been fired because there's some leading in the barrel that needs to be cleaned out, but other than that it is simply perfect. I don't know much about used gun values, am not a collector, but this seemed like a real decent buy to me. I had one of these back in the '80s but ended up selling or trading it off years ago, and later wished I hadn't. I'd wanted to pick up a new one, perhaps a .357 version, but am happy with this gun for a lot less money, plus it doesn't have the hated lock. Was that a good price?

I haven't taken any yet, but when I do I'll get one up. It looks a lot like the other several thousands of 649-2s that are out there, I imagine, pretty much identical actually. No mods, original grips, etc. Nice little gun. I'm really pleased to have picked that one up.
