Default 41 Mag PC value

I have a stainless model 657-4 that I have had for a few years and it just sits in my safe. I would like to sell it and wondered what everyone thought a fair value was? It is from the Performance Center and has a 2-5/8" barrel with an unfluted cylinder in a locking hard case. I have only fired it less than 50 times, still have the first box of ammo. It is pretty close to what they are currently offering but with different grips and no lock. Please see the attached photos and let me know what you guys think a fair value is.

Regards,
Mark Johnson

Double check w prices on auction sites, such as
Guns - Online Gun Auction - Guns at GunBroker.com
Guns for Sale, Classifieds, Gun Auctions, Shop GunsAmerica
but I think $800 will get rather qiuck responses.

Edited- that looks to be a "pre-lock" gun. Maybe ask a little more. No lock guns are in greater demand, i think.

If it's a pre lock I'd give you 1K for it. Not up on the newer models and not a IL fan, but do love a snub .41 mag.

Pre-lock guns will usually bring more than the newer, lock guns. I'd also suggest a look at the auction sites, but there aren't a lot of these for sale in pre-lock configuration, to compare yours with. I was looking on the auction sites for new ones a little while ago, they were around $850 and up as I recall. These were all with the IL. Hope this helps some.

I have sent a private message to Sportsterguy with his mention of an offer. He would have first right to pistol if accepted.

Pistol is still available. I am going to post it in the classifieds section. Thanks for all of the advice.
