36-8 with Combats
Nice and simple carry piece. Three inch model 36-8 from 1994 with factory Combats.

Very nice! Strong side holster carry? Just curious.
Thanks for posting the photo.

Trying to decide on a holster for it. Thinking of an owb leather at 4:00 or Crossdraw style. I have a factory fitted spurless hammer for it also.

Down in your part of the state, that would sure look good in a floral carved OWB rig at a barbecue. Man, that's just a classy gun. I have a 36-1 that I just love (mine has been tuned by Alamogordo 'smith Sam Damewood, including a spur reduction), but the Combats on yours really toughen it up.
Maybe I do need to chase down some stag stocks for mine after all . . .

The Combats give it a good solid feel....seems like the trigger is lighter than it actually is.
I like your holster

I used a Bianchi Model 5 holster for mine, if that helps.
But that holster won't accept the full lugged barrel Model 36-6 and M60-4. I had El Paso Saddlery make holsters for those.

Thanks, amigo: that custom flap holster was made several years back by David Newcomb, who is a friend of forum member Paul Dameron (Newfyman). Mr. Newcomb was elderly at the time, thought, so I'm not sure he's still in the game.
