Default I passed it on

Found a 3" model 13 for what was probably a decent price and could not take advantage of it due to personal circumstances so I passed on the info to several here on the board who inquired about the details. Enough members that I feel like if it was worthwhile and available someone will have snagged it by now.

My good deed for the day is done . . . . . . hopefully what goes around comes around and I'll be the recipient of a deal I can afford at the time one of these days . . . .

I have a 3" Model 13, thank you, but I watched a 3" Model 10 go by yesterday at more money than I wanted to put in one. Maybe next time. 3" is my personal sweet spot with true snubbies not far behind. Four inch is getting kinda long in the tube. Longer than that is reserved for single actions and Colt Pythons.

Default Quota's

Gun quota's. Now that is funny. I rarely go a full week. It was a little over a week for a S&W though.
I did pickup a Third Model Woodsmen Match Target at Saturdays gunshow
but the other gun I got that day I don't feel I really have to count.
A Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail 10 mm to keep the 45 acp model I bought from getting lonely among all the S&W's in the Gun safes.
The reason for not having to count it, I traded in my Diamondback 380 acp
for it.
It is my considered opinion that a trade in negates the "counting" against said quota.
The Smith pre 17 four screw I bought less then two weeks ago does not count either as it was made in 1957, the year of my birth.
